The Kids arive in Darwin

Back to work today, man it was hard. Anyway 1 day to go until the kids arrive. I fixed up the tarp a bit better because there is some nasty bird shitting all over the side of the van that wasn’t quite covered and I had to cut a hole so the antenna would go up again.
Today is the day and we are up early after a call from the kids when they arrived at the airport. We head over to airport in time for a beer to wait for the plane to arrive. Boy have they grown. Its really cool to see them again and with 41 in Adelaide the kids are coming to the cold Darwin where its only 34. We go for a drive around to show them Darwin briefly. Back to the Shady Glen and we head straight for the pool.

I have to work on New Years Eve but only until 12:00. Tina starts so we do our first kid swap in town. On the bus back to the Shady Glen and the pool to cool down.
We are having pizzas on the cob tonight so the Kids and I prepare and even make our own dough. We make some cool pizzas and the kids even had pineapple. Between Kirsten’s hair and Jason’s facial I have a busy arvo.
Tina gets home after 9 and we make her Pizza and sit around with Nathan & Megan. The kids can’t go the distance as usual. It’s a pretty quite night except for a domestic next door which got a bit out of hand.
